The KA2 Erasmus Plus project “INHABITAT” aims to create a comprehensive 2-year MSc program focusing on IoT applications in everyday life, preparing students for careers in the emerging field of “Intelligent Sustainable Habitats.”
The program will emphasize practical skills and knowledge, promoting entrepreneurship and initiative. It will be worth 120 ECTS credits and will offer micro-credentials for vocational education and training, catering to those seeking specific skills for upskilling and lifelong learning.

From January 25th to 26th, 2024, the Department of Production Engineering and Management at the International Hellenic University hosted representatives from educational institutions and companies abroad for the kick-off meeting of the European program “Intelligent Sustainable Habitats masters course – INHABITAT” at its campus in Sindos. The program aims to develop and implement an English-language postgraduate curriculum focused on sustainable urban development. Key areas of focus include urban transport, sustainable construction, energy conservation, as well as technologies such as artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things. Visitors to the campus had the opportunity to tour the facilities and learn about the department’s ongoing educational and research initiatives.
