Join Our Virtual Exchange Showcase: Collaborating as Equals

On 5 November 2026, the EAC EMPOWER Impact Series hosts its next online session: “Collaborating as Equals”, organized as a DigiCreate Empower Virtual Exchange. Running from September 2026 to April 2027, the EAC EMPOWER Impact Series brings together youth workers, trainers, emerging leaders, and young people in the CCI industries for 30 free weekly online sessions. Through practical train-the-trainer sessions, Virtual Exchanges, and cross-border peer learning, participants discover collaborative tools to support their wellbeing and professional practice.

 

Six Learning Cycles 

The 30 sessions are organized into six progressive thematic cycles:

    1. Safe Space
  • Professional Equity
  1. Mutual Value
  2. Constructive Validation
  3. Sustainable Growth
  4. Self-Awareness

Session 7 continues our second cycle, Professional Equity, by exploring how individuals and teams can collaborate effectively without micromanagement.

 

Session 7: Collaborating as Equals (Professional Equity) 

When teamwork lacks clear boundaries, communication can quickly break down into micromanagement or unequal workloads. Using non-formal participatory approaches inspired by Steven Pressfield’s The War of Art, this 90-minute interactive workshop explores practical strategies for collaborating as equals. Participants will reflect on how inner Resistance hinders collaboration and how territorial thinking helps teams share ideas and contribute on an equal footing.

What You Will Explore 

During the session, participants will:

  • Explore Equal vs. Normal and why equality does not mean sameness.
  • Reflect on how inner Resistance can hinder collaboration and how territorial thinking can promote equality.
  • Practice sharing ideas and contributing on equal footing.
  • Exchange strategies for combining different strengths, building trust, and working toward a shared goal.

 

Who Should Attend? 

This online virtual exchange session is designed for young people in the CCI industries seeking constructive ways to build trust and combine strengths in group settings. Participants join live via Zoom to engage in small-group activities, guided reflection, and facilitated peer discussions.
