Building Semiconductor Skills Through Flexible Online Learning
As demand for expertise in chip design, embedded systems, and microelectronics continues to grow across Europe, flexible learning opportunities are becoming increasingly important for students and professionals alike.
Through RESCHIP4EU, learners can access a catalogue of free online course modules hosted on the ICARUS AI E-Learning platform. Developed by academic experts and industry practitioners within the consortium, these self-standing modules are designed to strengthen advanced technical skills while allowing participants to learn at their own pace.
The courses are organised into three thematic groups:
- Hardware Design
- Embedded Application Design, and
- Security & Reliability.
Learners can choose individual modules that match their interests or complete three modules within a thematic group to obtain a topic-group certificate. Individual module certificates are also available.
The catalogue covers a broad range of subjects, including Artificial Intelligence Safety, Computer Architectures, Design Methods for HW Security and Trust, Embedded Platforms and Embedded Control, GPU Programming, Heterogeneous Computing for Artificial Intelligence Applications, Model Based Design and Verification, Open-source ASIC Design, Signal Processing Algorithms in Embedded Systems, Testing and Fault Tolerance, and The Art behind Reconfigurable and Adaptive Computing Systems.
Together, these modules provide learners with practical knowledge that reflects the evolving needs of Europe’s semiconductor sector.
By making specialised training freely available through the ICARUS AI E-Learning platform, RESCHIP4EU contributes to strengthening Europe’s skills base in advanced chip design and embedded systems while supporting lifelong learning and professional development.
