🌱 Can Sustainability Shape Business Strategy?
Sustainable development is often discussed at policy level, but how does it translate into real business decisions?
In Sustainable Business II (Semester C – 6 ECTS), students in the INHABITAT Project examine the economic and managerial dimensions of sustainability.
The course explores:
• Environmental and resource economics
• The economics of climate change
• Green growth and circular economy models
• Equity and justice within sustainable development
Alongside this, students gain insight into:
• Strategic thinking and planning
• The role and responsibilities of business managers
• How management decisions influence long-term company performance
• Implementing and evaluating sustainable strategies
By combining policy, economics, and business administration, the course connects sustainable development goals with practical leadership and decision-making.
