Join Our Virtual Exchange Showcase: Sharing Creative Ideas with Peer Support

Putting your creative work out into the world can feel intimidating. Whether you design graphics, write scripts, produce music, or build digital campaigns, hitting “publish” often triggers a wave of self-doubt. You might wonder if your project is good enough or worry about harsh online criticism.

On 22 October 2026, the EAC EMPOWER Impact Series hosts its next online session: “Sharing Ideas with Peer Support”, organized as a special DigiCreate Empower Virtual Exchange Showcase.

Running from September 2026 to April 2027, the EAC EMPOWER Impact Series brings together youth workers, trainers, emerging leaders, and young creatives in the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) for 30 free weekly online sessions. Through interactive train-the-trainer workshops, Virtual Exchanges, and cross-border peer learning, participants discover collaborative tools to support their well-being and creative journey.

 

The Six Learning Cycles of EAC EMPOWER

The 30 sessions follow six progressive thematic learning cycles:

    1. Safe Space (Sessions 1–5)
  • Professional Equity
  • Mutual Value
  • Constructive Validation
  • Sustainable Growth
  • Self-Awareness

Session 5 serves as the celebratory Showcase of our opening cycle, Safe Space. Over the past four weeks, we examined how to ground our presence, set digital boundaries, offer constructive feedback, and stay calm under pressure. Now, we bring these skills together to showcase creative work in an environment where everyone can speak without fear of judgment.

 

Owning Your Creative Territory: Inspired by The War of Art

Why do we hesitate before sharing our projects? 

In The War of Art, author Steven Pressfield calls this hesitation Resistance. Resistance feeds on comparison, status anxiety, and the fear of being judged by others.

To overcome Resistance, Pressfield encourages artists to operate territorially. This means returning to the craft for its own sake rather than seeking constant external approval. In this 90-minute virtual exchange, you will explore how defining your creative territory strengthens your professional identity and gives you the courage to share your authentic voice.

Using non-formal participatory approaches, you will:

Who Should Attend?

This online virtual exchange showcase is designed for young creatives, artists, freelancers, media makers, and young professionals (aged 18-30) in the Cultural and Creative Industries, as well as youth workers and facilitators who want to empower through supportive creative spaces.

Participants connect live on Zoom to take part in dynamic breakout groups, peer discussions, and collaborative sharing.
