Not everyone approaches employability, career development, or labour-market participation from the same starting point. Some people are searching for research insights, innovation perspectives, and evidence-informed approaches to employment systems. Others are looking for guidance, support, opportunities, or more accessible pathways through career transitions.
To better reflect these different needs, the DIAMOND Empower website has been updated with two clearer pathways designed to help visitors more easily find the information most relevant to them.
The updated structure now includes:
🔬 RESEARCH
The RESEARCH pathway is designed for Institutional & Innovation Stakeholders.
It is especially relevant to the scientific community, including universities, laboratories, and research institutes; companies, such as SMEs and start-ups; third-party developers; and policymakers interested in more inclusive, future-ready approaches to employability and labour-market participation.
Visitors can explore DIAMOND’s background, consortium, results, and press kit materials, as well as the project’s work on research, digital innovation, and evidence-informed employment systems.
💼 CAREER PATH
The CAREER PATH pathway is designed for Future Beneficiaries and the Employment Support Ecosystem.
It supports people exploring their next steps in work, learning, and professional development—whether they are entering the labour market, returning after a change, building confidence, developing new skills, or considering new opportunities.
This pathway may be particularly relevant for people whose access to employment can be affected by wider social or economic circumstances, including women, persons with disabilities, migrants, and others facing structural barriers in the labour market.
Within CAREER PATH, visitors can discover:
- THE ᴱGROW Index: A supportive reflection tool that helps people explore strengths, confidence, learning needs, and future-ready capabilities.
- Partners’ Activities: A space to get to know the organisations behind DIAMOND and explore their work across research, education, technology, policy, vocational learning, and grassroots support.

The update reflects one of DIAMOND Empower’s central ideas: employability support should not follow a one-size-fits-all approach. People experience the labour market differently depending on their skills, opportunities, barriers, personal circumstances, and career journeys. Because of this, access to information and support should also feel more personalised and accessible.
This updated structure also supports educators, civil society organisations, labour-market stakeholders, and community actors looking for more accessible ways to engage with the project’s goals and outcomes.
Whether visitors are approaching DIAMOND from a research perspective or from a personal employment journey, the new pathways aim to create a more intuitive and human-centred experience.
